Chaponost
Mediatheque in Chaponost (69)
The new site of the Chaponost library is located at the heart of a town on the outskirts of Lyon which has retained the feel of a village.
The building is L-shaped, to complement the incomplete geometry of the square, while opening it up onto a park below. The light aluminium facades enable this contemporary-looking building to fit in to an old neighbourhood while standing for access to the digital world.
